Why Your Ideas Aren’t Spreading (Yet)

📍LIVE ONLINE EVENT

🗓️ Jan 28 from 12pm to 1pm EST

A free, live Zoom class for people with great ideas who are done waiting to be noticed.

Learn what actually helps ideas spread.

Overview

You can have a great idea and still feel like it’s going nowhere.

Ideas don’t spread simply because they’re brilliant. That can be frustrating, especially for people who care deeply about the quality and integrity of their work. The good news is that this rarely comes down to effort, talent, or commitment.

Ideas move when the conditions around them are right.

In this class, we’ll look at how ideas actually move through people and relationships. We’ll explore what happens when ideas stay parked among familiar circles, how broader connections create momentum, and why certain relationships open the door for ideas to travel.

Together, we’ll look at:

  • Why strong ideas can stall

  • How different kinds of relationships shape momentum

  • What it means to activate an ecosystem around an idea

  • How small, steady shifts help ideas move without pressure or performance

You’ll leave with a clearer sense of what’s been getting in the way and what your idea needs next.

MEET YOUR GUIDE

I’m Dr. Amanda Crowell, a cognitive psychologist and the author of Great Work.

My work centers on two questions: What is your Great Work, and why does it matter that you do it? And once you know that, how do you get the right people to care?

I wrote Great Work, created the Great Work Journals, and founded the Network Effect Lab to help people clarify what they stand for and build the conditions where their work can be recognized, engaged with, and sustained over time.

If you want your work to land without chasing attention or turning yourself into something you’re not, you’re in the right place.
